When moving overseas, it is often the case that shipping schedules don’t coincide exactly with your packing schedule. This being the case your shipment will most likely have to be taken to Kellys transit warehouse after leaving your home. This is usually only a brief stay, and your packed belongings will be kept in a modern, clean, secure facility with 24 hour security.
Secure, Long Term Warehousing
In some cases, due to your own personal or regulatory reasons, packed belongings may have to be stored for extended periods. If this is the case, your shipment will be loaded into storage vaults and placed in a less active section of the warehouse.
Export Formalities
Once your shipment is ready for export, Kellys will prepare the necessary export documents, book an Airline or Steamship Line, and coordinate export customs formalities. Where possible we endeavor to avoid any export inspection. However, if this is necessary Kellys will use its own professional staff to un-pack and re-pack your belongings.
Sea Freight Services
The bulk of your belongings will travel by ship to your destination country and new residence. Rest assured, Kellys only use reputable, cost effective Steamship Lines to move your belongings.
Airfreight Services
Should you need any of your belongings at your new home/destination sooner than shipping by sea freight, Kellys can arrange for your belongings to be air freighted with a reputable airline.
Delivery Services
When your belongings arrive in the destination country, Kellys’ selected moving professionals there will be responsible for customs clearance and delivery to your residence.
Worldwide Transit Coverage
Should you wish, Kellys can arrange all risk transit insurance for door to door protection. Coverage commences when we begin packing and remains in effect until unpacking is competed in your new residence. Your insurance premium is calculated as a percentage of your declared value therefore an itemized inventory is necessary to activate transit cover.
